Mending Hands Massage Therapy is the passion of Melissa Finley. Melissa earned her degree in Occupational Studies - Massage Therapy from the renowned Swedish Institute - College of Health Sciences in New York City. She has well over a thousand hours of training and is certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD, Vodder Technique) as well as advanced certification in Prenatal, Postnatal and Fertility Massage. She is also trained in Compassionate Touch Oncology Massage. Before moving to Sarasota, Melissa started Mending Hands in New York City and became one of the top rated private practices in Brooklyn.

Melissa is the Founding Editor of the internationally read Mending Hands Blog, Co-Creator of Anatomy In Motion and a former ad sales marketing coordinator for Martha Stewart. She thinks napping is important and loves the opportunity to help people feel better each and every day!
